The festival runs from 2 to 6 October 2026 across London venues including the Barbican, the ICA, Ciné Lumière and BFI Stephen Street, with screenings spanning feature fiction, documentary, animation and short film.
The first edition of the London Latino Film Festival is set to turn London into a meeting point for Latin American and Latino cinema between 2 and 6 October 2026. The programme brings together 60 titles from more than 25 countries – including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and beyond, alongside co-productions with the UK, Spain, France, Italy and Germany – across five strands: Official Competition, Environmental Competition, Rising Stars Competition, Family Cinema and Latin Legacy.
Curated to reflect the breadth and vitality of contemporary Latin American storytelling – from bold fiction and observational documentary to animation and experimental short form – the selection highlights themes of migration, identity, memory, the environment and community, alongside a legacy strand of landmark titles that shaped Latin American cinema.
