A Latin American film festival is coming to London in October, it has been announced.
The London Latino Film Festival will run from October 2 to October 6, premiering at the Barbican.
In addition to screenings, the event will feature question and answer sessions with Latino stars such as Cuban ballet dancer Carlos Acosta, Argentine actor Óscar Martínez and Cuban actor Jorge Perugorría.
The festival will also comprise cultural events, including a rare exhibition of hand-printed Cuban film posters – which were crafted in Havana by Cuba’s national film institute in the face of regular power cuts.

Cuban actress Ketty Rodriguez is at the helm of the capital’s first Latin American film festival.
After moving to London in May 2025, Ms Rodriguez said the festival was “born from a desire to showcase the richness, diversity, and passion of Latin American voices on screen right here in the heart of London.”
She added: “The festival is a space for filmmakers, audiences, and communities to come together – to share stories that move us, challenge us, and remind us of how deeply connected we are through art and experience.”
