The London Latino Film Festival (LoLaFF) CIC is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all staff, volunteers, collaborators, guests, and participants.
We have zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, or racism in any form. Our organisation upholds the principles of diversity, equality, and dignity, ensuring that everyone involved in the festival feels valued, supported, and respected.
This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, external collaborators, guests, and participants involved in any aspect of the festival, including panels, workshops, screenings, and related events.
Bullying: Repeated behaviour that intimidates, humiliates, or degrades an individual.
Harassment: Unwanted behaviour based on gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic that creates a hostile or offensive environment.
Racism: Any act of discrimination, prejudice, or unequal treatment based on a person’s racial or ethnic background.
Leadership / Organisers:
Ensure this policy is fully implemented, clearly communicated, and that all incidents are handled promptly and fairly.
Staff and Volunteers:
Act respectfully at all times, model inclusive behaviour, and report any inappropriate conduct.
Anyone who experiences or witnesses bullying, harassment, or racism is encouraged to report it by emailing info@londonlatinofilmfestival.org.uk.
All reports will be handled confidentially, and there will be no retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
How LoLaFF will ensure everyone understands how to report inappropriate behaviour:
We will include clear reporting instructions on our website, ticket confirmation emails, and printed programmes.
We will display discreet contact information for incident reporting at festival venues, including screenings, panels, and workshops.
We will provide staff and volunteers with a short induction on this policy, enabling them to support participants and respond appropriately.
These measures ensure our reporting channels are accessible, confidential, and proactive, reflecting LoLaFF’s shared commitment to safety, respect, and inclusion.
All reports will be investigated fairly, sensitively, and without delay.
Depending on the severity of the incident, outcomes may include mediation, verbal or written warnings, suspension, or exclusion from the festival.
This policy will be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and aligned with best practice in workplace equality, safety, and inclusion.
